Redefining impact reporting for a £46m professional services firm

A B Corp certified firm with 450+ employees needed an impact report that matched the seriousness of their certification. Their internal team couldn’t get the tone right — a common failure when communicating sustainability is treated as a general brief. I was brought in to reshape the narrative strategy, editorial direction, and post-publication plan. The firm re-engaged for a second year and I proposed a structural shift to quarterly impact communications, moving sustainability from an annual exercise to an ongoing strategic asset.

Identifying greenwashing risk before it became public

An EV charging subsidiary was presenting its parent company’s sustainability credentials as its own, including material composition claims that didn’t hold up under scrutiny. I identified the exposure during a broader strategy engagement, flagged the specific risks, and advised the team on restructuring their client-facing sustainability communications to protect credibility without losing the genuine impact story they had to tell.

From strategic direction to six-figure rebrand and B Corp certification

The CEO of a growing tech company had been following my thinking on LinkedIn and reached out because of how I framed the intersection of impact and commercial positioning. He knew where he wanted the brand to go — toward genuine sustainability leadership and B Corp certification — but his leadership team lacked a shared strategic framework to get there. I designed and led a full-day offsite strategy session with the entire senior team. That work directly informed a subsequent six-figure rebrand and the company’s successful B Corp certification, both executed by other partners, built on the direction I established.

But this time for pure strategic advisory: auditing her team’s draft, assessing narrative credibility, and delivering a prioritised table of recommendations that she and her team then implemented.

A framework that turned paralysis into published impact reports

Sixteen members of the Sustainable Wedding Alliance needed to produce impact reports but didn’t know where to start. I designed and delivered a half-day strategic workshop built on my Impact Narrative Framework that combined best-practice guidance with hands-on working sessions. Attendees left with structural plans and draft copy. I was scored 9.6 out of 10 for workshop satisfaction, and multiple attendees published their first impact reports in the weeks that followed.
